Math Tutoring for Precalculus and A/B Calculus in Chicago
Precalculus courses can cover a wide range of topics: conic sections, probability, sequences, complex functions, linear algebra, etc. A pre-calculus course can be extremely challenging, and require studying and discipline at a new level for many students. Tom has extensive experience with the precaclulus curriculums at New Trier, Evanston, Loyola, Whitney Young and St. Ignatius College Prep.
One-on-one math
help can be exactly what is needed even for the brightest of
math students.
AP Calculus courses can
also challenge the best of students. Tom is familiar with the
A/B Calculus curriculum at New Trier, Evanston, Whitney Young
and Loyola Academy. Make no mistake about it, these are challenging
courses. Typically students taking these courses are taking other
honors and AP classes. A good
math tutor may also
be beneficial in pre-calculus for students who are home
schooling and can take some of the pressure off of students
who are doing college level coursework in high school. Tom communicates
regularly with students in these classes in between sessions
and keeps up with assignments and individual course expectations
which can vary greatly from school to school.
